I started riding when I was 7 years old and became a horse owner just a few years later. My dreams had come true and my life changed forever. That was 1999 and the start of a very steep learning curve.

Once we let horses into our lives it's hard to let them go. There are many things only a "horse person" will understand. I've had horses over the last 20 + years, both owned and loaned; and handled many many more besides.

In 2007 I started working as a stable hand for a small riding school in QLD. I worked hard for a small wage and the reward of riding the school horses I found my happy place. I went on to study Horse riding Instructing and completed level 1 & 2.  In 2011 I swapped careers and went into Dental Nursing because horses were supposed to be my "hobby". 

I continued working as a Dental Nurse and Instructing on the side until 2015 ... Life gave me lemons and I made lemonade by deciding to pull up all roots and travel Australia with my dog in toe. I spent 12 months on the road, enjoyed many spectacular places but none compare to the moment I stepped off the Ferry and took a breath of sweet Tasman air and knew I had found a place to call home.

I had plans to get back into some show jumping or cross country but In May 2019 my son was born followed by my daughter June 2021. They have brought a lot of love and laughter to my life and a new found appreciation for the little things. I've found myself inspired to put all of my efforts into where my heart truly belongs... Horse care.
